Barbara Kehm is Chair of the Gesellschaft für Hochschulforschung and Executive Secretary of the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers (CHER) seit.
 

Her major research foci are: Higher Education Governance; Internationalisation in Higher Education; Development of Doctoral Education in Europe.
