For many fields in higher education institutions and around the organisation of study programmes professionals are needed. Therefore it is becoming more and more interesting for students to apply for a Master programme in this field and to choose "higher education as profession".

The programme, which is offered by the International Centre for Higher Education Research Kassel together with the Department of Social Sciences at Kassel University, is international and interdisciplinary. A direct link to higher education research is guaranteed. It aims to qualify students in two respects:

a) to become a young researcher or doctoral candidate in the field of research about a broad variety of issues in higher education;

b) training for a variety of professions within or close to higher education institutions, management, internationalisation, research planning, evaluation and accreditation, curriculum design, institutional research, etc.

 

 

The Programme does not provide training and qualifications for the school teaching professions.

MAHE Survey 2011

 

In June and July 2011 a survey among all students and graduates of the MAHE study program is conducted.

 

All responses are treated confidentially and we would appreciate a high participation very much.

 

The online questionnaire takes about 15-20 minutes to fill in.
